Women in International Law: A Vanishing Act?

Two judicial posts at the UN International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) resulted in the nomination of eleven men, which has caused outrage regarding the lack of gender diversity. This got me thinking about women in international law in general - and here are a few findings, upon assessing international courts, UN treaty bodies and mandate holders.
